From the A6 London Road if you’re coming from Leicester, continue out towards Oadby and at the Stoughton Road traffic lights (you will see Cinnamon’s on the left hand side across the lights) turn right down Knighton Road. Continue along Knighton Road and you will come to a left hand bend (large Church on your right) follow the bend round and you will see Carisbrooke Road ahead of you. Go down Carisbrooke Road (it looks like a straight ahead but is actually a left hand turn off Knighton Road) and Kenwood Road is the third turning on the right. Number 6 is the third house on the left. From the A5199 Welford Road, driving out of
Leicester towards Wigston you will go past Morrison’s (on your
right), carry on past Homebase (again on your right) past all the
shops up a slight incline (the Post Office is on your right) until
you come to a set of traffic lights at a cross roads (Co-op Funeral
Services on right hand corner). At these lights take the left hand
filter up Chapel Lane and follow it round into Knighton Road,
continue along until you come to Carisbrooke Road – a right hand
turn – drive down Carisbrooke Road and Kenwood Road is the third
turning on the right. Number 6 is the third house on the left. |
From the A6 London Road coming in the other direction (going towards Leicester) you will come to a big roundabout which is the Leicester Racecourse Roundabout – go straight over the roundabout and take the first turning on the left Shanklin Drive. Shanklin Drive is a long road, follow it all the way down, passing Shanklin Gardens on your right and take the next right hand turn which is Carisbrooke Road. Drive up Carisbrooke Road a little way and Kenwood Road is the first turning on the left. Number 6 is the third house on the left. From the A5199 Welford Road, driving towards Leicester at the major crossroads with Asquith Way on your left and Palmerston Way on your right (A563) turn right up Palmerston Way and carry on until you come to a large roundabout which is the Leicester Racecourse Roundabout. Turn left towards Leicester and take the first turning on the left Shanklin Drive. Shanklin Drive is a long road, follow it all the way down, passing Shanklin Gardens on your right and take the next right hand turn which is Carisbrooke Road. Drive up Carisbrooke Road a little way and Kenwood Road is the first turning on the left. Number 6 is the third house on the left.
