Self-Help Homeopathy

Learn how to treat yourself, your family and friends for minor injuries and ailments using homeopathic remedies.

Homeopathic medicines are free from harmful side effects which make them ideal to be used at home for minor accidents (cuts, bruises, sprains, burns) and illnesses (for example, colds, flu, food poisoning, fevers).

The Self-Help Homeopathy course will teach you when and how to use a range of homeopathic medicines so that you can feel confident that you can do something effective for minor emergencies and illness.

Running times can be tailored to the needs and availability of your particular group from one day courses to six-week courses (two hours per week).

The next six-week course will run from Tuesday 16th March to Tuesday 20th April 2010, 7.00pm to 9.00 pm.

Cost: £25 per week. Fee to include complementary Ainsworths Essential Remedy Kit (RRP £39.00).


Homeopathy for Pregnancy and Childbirth

Learn how to use homeopathic remedies to ease ailments during pregnancy and to smooth the experience of childbirth.

Because homeopathic remedies are safe and free from harmful side effects they are ideal to use during pregnancy, childbirth and with small children.

The Homeopathy for Pregnancy and Childbirth course is ideal for pregnant women and their birth partners, midwives and health visitors. You will learn how to use homeopathic remedies during pregnancy and before, during and after childbirth.

Running times can be tailored to the needs and availability of your particular group from one day courses to four-week courses (two hours per week).

Four-week course cost: £25 per week. Fee to include complementary Helios Child Birth Kit (RRP £26.95).

Student Tutorials

If you are currently studying homeopathy on one of the recognised courses, you are very welcome to join the monthly tutorials running at the Alternative.

Tutorials are student-directed, which means that you get to discuss what is currently relevant to you. You will also get the opportunity to mix with other students and learn from each other's experiences.

Dates for 2010: February 20th; March 27th; April 17th; May 22nd; June 19th.

Tutorials run from 10am-12pm
Cost: £10 per tutorial.
