Homeopathy
First Consultation
Your first appointment will take up to one and a half hours. Allowing this amount of time means that you will be able to fully discuss your current health concerns and Kim will be able to get to know you as a person.
Fee: £95 to include a one-and-a-half-hour appointment, all medicines prescribed and all email or phone contact between appointments.
Further Consultations
Appointments usually take place fortnightly or monthly, depending on the nature of your current health concerns. Follow-up appointments usually last up to an hour which we find gives you enough time to tell us about your progress and to decide together the next stage of your treatment.
Fee: £60 to include a one-hour appointment, all medicines prescribed and all email or phone contact between appointments.
Telephone Consultations
Please feel able to telephone for homeopathic advice on minor illnesses (coughs, colds, flu, food poisoning, fevers, for example) and accidents (cuts, bruises, sprains, burns) - or email, if that is easier for you.
If you are seeing Kim regularly, there is no fee for such contact between appointments. If you need new medicines, there will just be a small charge to cover postage and packing.
If you are not a regular patient the fee is £25 to include a telephone or email consultation, all homeopathic remedies, herbal tinctures or flower essences prescribed and postage and packing.
Family Healthcare Packages
If two or more members of your family would like to come to the Alternative for treatment, and you would like to, we can arrange a Family Healthcare Package for you.
Family Healthcare Packages reduce the cost of your consultation fees by 20% and allow you to spread your payments through monthly standing order.
Health Insurance Companies
If you have private healthcare insurance, it may be that the company you are insured with will cover all or part of the cost of your appointments. A list of Health Insurance Companies who cover homeopathy provided by members of The Society of Homeopaths can be found here.
Emotional Freedom Technique
EFT appointments are booked in two-hour sessions. This is to give you the maximum opportunity to resolve your current problem and to ensure that you are feeling relaxed and happy before you leave. If it is appropriate, you may be offered homeopathic remedies and/or flower essences to help support the changes you have made.
Fee: £120 to include a two-hour EFT session, any homeopathic remedies or flower essences prescribed, and any telephone or email contact between appointments.
Ka Huna Massage
You may book a one-hour or a one-and-a-half-hour Ka Huna massage. For your first experience, you will need to allow half an hour before your massage so that Kathryn can work out with you what you would like to gain from the massage. After every massage, you will need to allow an additional half hour of relaxation to ensure that you feel re-energised and ready for the rest of your day before you leave.
Fee: £95 to include a one-and-a-half-hour Ka Huna Massage, your discussion time, your relaxation time and any telephone or email contact between appointments. £80 to include a one-hour massage, your discussion time, your relaxation time and any telephone or email contact between appointments.
